Success true story

Hey Cesar!

I just want you to know that working with animals, dogs specifically, has always been a dear dream of mine. When I was young, I wanted to be a vet, and that still may be in my future! Last year I started volunteering at the Pet Adoption League (PAL), and it confirmed my dreams. It started with an aggressive Collie/Heeler mix puppy who, unfortunately, people thought was aggressive. They wouldn't go in his kennel, because they were terrified he would attack.

For a month, he never left the kennel. I started working with him. At the end of day one, he wasn't cowering in the corner growling. He was following me outside and learning to trust me! By the end of the week, I had him walking nicely on a leash, and he was confident to be around other humans and acting like a puppy should. A week later, he had a home and was doing great!

Right now, that's my goal: to help shelter dogs become happy and adoptable. I really just want to thank you. I'm continuing working with dogs, and it fills my heart with joy when the hard work the canines and I put in pays off. You've greatly inspired me.

Again, thanks Cesar!

Patty
